(Vibiznews - FX) - U.S. Dollar index today (02-02, 10:44 GMT), strengthened slightly toward some other major currencies, after fell about - 0.61% at yesterday’s trading. The index running at 78.91, and rise + 0.15% from opening price today (00:00 GMT).

Vibiz Consulting Analyst said the U.S. dollar still under pressure and had weakened in the last two weeks as a slowdown signals in U.S. economy emerged. Yesterday’s report showed that the performance of the manufacturing sector only rose to 54.1, where previously expected to increase to 54.6 from 53.9.

Labor sector also show a slowdown signal, ADP National Employment Report show U.S. private-sector employment only increased by 170,000 Jobs in January. December period shows a better results and had increased by 292 000.

At today’s trading , U.S. dollar is expected to gain a momentum to strengthen, jobless claims last week may drop to 373 000, which could show a stability of improvement in the labor sector.
