(Vibiznews - FX) – At GBP / USD trading today (21-02, 14.08 GMT) , Sterling had collapsed about - 70 pips, or about - 0.44% from opening price (00:00 GMT). The currency had tumbled -85 pips from highest today and observed at 1.5778. Vibiz Consulting Analyst said that today's trading showed reversal pattern which tends to weaken Sterling after it moved higher at yesterday’s trading. Although Britain's public finances posted their biggest monthly surplus in four years, market still worrying about British’s fiscal healthy. Ratings agency Moody's warned last week that Britain could lose its prized triple-A credit rating in the next 18 months. Negative sentiment is also observed in the stocks trading , where FTSE 100 Index move down about - 0.32% at 5926.47, and FTSE 250 Index move down about -0.44% at 11369.8. The Office for National Statistics reported that British public sector made a net repayment excluding financial interventions of 7.750 billion pounds last month, up from 5.204 billion pounds a year ago.
